Work Weekend

Most of you know that my grandparents are building a cabin in the Uintahs and we are working on building too. My grandparents are working at high speed and we are moving at turtle speed. However, work has officially began. We have spent the last few weekends up there working our butts off. We set two huge vaults and dug the basement for my Grandpa and Grandma's cabin. Not to mention the few hundred feet on utilities around the place. One of the vaults is a 4,000 gallon water vault (for fire safety). This thing is huge, they had to use a crane to set it. The other was a smaller vault to house the drinking water system. You should have seen us set that one. Justin on the track hoe and me and my grandparents dangling from ropes trying to get the concrete box in the right place. What a sight, but we did it. I feel bad that Justin spent his birthday and Fathers Day work work working. What a good man! It's a huge relief to have that work done, Justin has been worried about it. There is no way we could have got that much work done ourselves. Saturday we had lots of help, Bob & Sue, Wylee & Alecia, and my mom & Chuck came to help. Thanks so much! We couldn't have done it without ya. Here are some pictures I took of the property and Justin working.

Our 3 little spectators. When they were using the crane truck I threatened them with their lives to stay in their chairs and watch. And they did, it was amazing!

4,000 gallon holding tank. This thing is huge!

Easton loves to ride in the trackhoe with his dad.
