Have you ever wondered what we did for entertainment before we had kids? I have wondered this a few times through the last few years. If your eating, stop while I tell you this story.
A few days ago Scout was sick, we were up through the night cleaning up puck, it was a typical night up with a sick kid. In the morning see told me her panties were wet, I didn't think much of it on told her to change her panties. About 20 seconds later she made a mad dash to the toilet. I go in to wipe when she asks, "mom, why is there puck coming out of my butt?" Then I had to tell her the joy of having what my grandma called the "Turkey squirts."
The next day Scout came running to me crying "GET IT OUT, GET IT OUT!" I had to ask, "Get what, out of where?" "In my nose!" She had stuck an eraser up her nose and I had to pull it out with tweezers.
Let me tell ya, it doesn't stop there. The next day she asked me why my butt jiggled. I have been to the gym every day since. Now is a good time to train for that half marathon in April.
Oh where would we be without our children?
